On my mind today....

Today is August the 7th and I awoke to death in the air. Today marks the 8 year anniversary of the death of my father. My dad was the greatest man I have ever known. I miss him terribly and wonder how things would be different if he was still around.

Then I find out John Hughes died and man that sucks. I am sitting here watching The Breakfast Club while I type this, it is on the dancing montage. John Hughes defined a generation and was an amazing writer. I am sad that I will no longer get to sit and wonder if he will make a comeback. I at least have many wonderful movies to help fill the void. Check out the following site to view an awesome tribute!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I've lost people in my family too and sometimes I wonder what things would have been like, had they not gone. I hope your week gets better!

I've been down in the dumpers since JH died too. I'm tired of 80s people dying! We should set a day and all watch The Breakfast Club at the same time to send him off!
